Fiber artists of all ages, levels, and mediums - we want you! You are invited to be a part of the 2nd Annual Fiber Art Show. Back by popular demand, this exciting event will gives you the chance to show off whatever project (or projects - we ask that artists limit themselves to two) you’re proud of. It doesn’t matter if it’s the world’s most complicated cable or a simple scarf - if you made it and you love it, we want you to show it off.
THE KNITTY GRITTY DETAILS:
There is no fee to participate, we just ask that you sign up so we know who/what to expect.
No more than two pieces per artist, please.
Yup - it can be ANY medium (knitting, sewing, felting, weaving, crochet…you name it).
The show will be installed in the “annex at Idlenot” - next door at 83 Main Street - and open to the public during the below dates and times.
Because we got so many inquiries last year, this year you can (but are absolutely not required to) list your work for sale. (More details on that on the sign up form!)
Artwork drop off and pick up info is included on the sign up form too.

Curious about crochet or looking to brush up on the basics?
Our Drop In Learn to Crochet class is perfect for brand new crocheters and anyone who could use a refresher.
Offered twice per month, this come as you can class covers crochet fundamentals at a comfortable pace.
We’ll work on skills such as the chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, reading simple patterns, fixing common mistakes, and finishing off. Whether you’re picking up a hook for the first time or returning after a long break, you’ll get guided, hands on help and plenty of encouragement.
$20 a class with tools and yarn included.

Drop in Knitting Classes!
We are excited to offer drop in knitting classes with Beth Vandewater! Beth has been teaching in Saratoga and has years of experience with all skill levels.
These classes are for beginners and advanced beginners to work on a new project or one they are struggling with. True beginners welcome with open arms! Drop-in classes are $20. These classes are for ages 18 and over.

Maker Meet Up!
Our social knitting/crochet/felting/crafting group. All are welcome to bring a project and enjoy the company of the fun friends at Idlenot.
This is a free, fun and non-instructional meet up group open to everyone!
Held every Thursday from 5 PM - 7PM unless otherwise noted.
