Idlenot Fibersmiths is more than just your local yarn store.

Sure, Idlenot offers a curated collection of ecologically and socially responsibly sourced yarns and local fiber, tools, supplies, and kits, not to mention some awesome stuff local makers have created for sale. And yeah, we also host workshops, classes, weekly drop in Maker’s Meetups and are always down to chat about your latest project or commiserate over your ever growing stash.

Above all, though, Idlenot Fibersmiths is a place where everyone – no matter who you are or how long you’ve been making – is welcome. (Yes, that means you.) We don’t care if you’re a curious beginner who just really likes to squish yarn and make a million scarves that may or may not be the proper dimensions or if you’ve been making stuff since 1959 and haven’t dropped a stitch since 1960. Everyone is awesome at Idlenot.
